The Fun Doesn’t Stop at 340 Nightclub

Are you looking to venture out to somewhere new? Perhaps a place where you can dance until the wee hours of the morning, or a place that has a gorgeous staff and features drink specials that won’t hurt your wallet? Well, look no further—340 Nightclub and Restaurant in Pomona is your answer.

340 Nightclub had its grand-opening in mid-December, and yes, yours truly was there. The place was jam-packed with 18-and-over partygoers who simply wanted to have fun and leave the drama at the door. Kudos to partner/owner Wesley Raymond, aka DJ Wes, for listening loud and clear to what it is that people want from a nightclub experience.

The venue is fairly large, which provides plenty of space for those of you who want to get your dance on. There is a dance area when you first walk in, with Wes spinning your favorite music. Three bars—two upstairs and one downstairs—help those who are looking to quench their thirst. (Thanks to the sexy Adolfo, who made sure cocktails flowed all night.) The upstairs bar is extra long, so it helps to prevent those long lines that people are usually waiting in. Smokers are allowed to take their puffs on the upstairs patio. Plenty of go-go dancers provided some hot eye candy. 340 Nightclub is open all weekend, so be sure to stop by. You’ll thank me later.

On Sunday, Jan. 15, 340 will hold its premiere night of Project Drag Race, a live stage version of RuPaul’s Drag Race, hosted by Raven and Shanel from the hit show. Ladies will strut their stuff in hopes of wowing the judges so they can advance to the following week. Sounds like a good time to me! If you’re interested in learning more about the club or Project Drag Race, please check them out at Facebook.com/340nightclub. ¡Hasta la proxima mis amigos!
