Crystal Nyla, David Regal and Trey Haines are Décolletage. This trio is responsible for getting you on your feet and dancing, thanks to their hit song "Shake That Décolletage." The song has been making its way through the club circuit and by no surprise it’s been welcomed with open arms. The jam is packed with funky beats that leaves you wanting more.
If you attended the Saturday pool party during White Party, chances are you saw them do their thing on stage. Los Angeles gets to see them up close and personal as the group performs during L.A. Pride at the Hip-Hop and R&B Pavillion as well as the Main Stage.
Haines stopped to talk about the group's upcoming performance at L.A. Pride.
You have a big performance coming up at L.A. Pride. What do you have in store for us? Sexy, feel good fun and fashion for all.
You recently performed at White Party. How did it go? It was an amazing experience to perform and connect with new fans.
What do you hope people experience while watching the group perform? We hope that they are inspired by our confidence and creativity.
Are there any artists or producers that you hope to team up with in the near future? Grace Jones, Prince and Wycleaf Jean.
How did you form the group? Our love for music, fashion and clubs brought us together and it was destiny (Strong Force).
I love the wardrobe, you guys rock. Do you all have a say in what you wear? We all style and design ourselves. The designs come out and shine through our music.
What does Décolletage mean? How did the name come about? Well, décolletage is a fashion term, that describes the cleavage area (upper chest) of a woman. Hypnotizing moments at the club with Star Venus (Crystal Nyla) seem to feature attention when we where all together hanging. It was all about her décolletage. We would make songs about it in the club and that was how we became Décolletage.
Where do you hope to be in five years? Performing all over the world and on New Year's Eve on the moon.
Any special shout-outs? Yes! Thank you to our amazing choreographer Mike Silas and Jeff Marchelletta for directing our hot like fire first video called "Shake That Décolletage" and our great photographer Carrell Augutus.
