The black gay HIV/AIDS, wellness and empowerment group In The Meantime Men was one of seven groups that benefited from the AIDS Healthcare Foundation-organized California Music Festival and AIDS Walk on Sunday, May 20 in Griffith Park. There was a family-friendly festival before the walk and a '70s-style music concert hosted by Magic Johnson at the Greek Theatre with co-sponsor K-EARTH 101 radio, which is celebrating its 40th year on the air. AHF is celebrating its 25th anniversary. The beneficiaries of the walk and festival are: AIDS Healthcare Foundation, AIDS Service Center, Bienestar, Charles Drew Mobile Testing, In The Meantime, Magic Johnson Foundation and the Whittier Rio Hondo AIDS Project.
