L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center invites the community out to celebrate life, being open and proud during Pride month, with its Life Out Loud block party on the historic New York Street of Paramount Studios' backlot.
The annual party is this Saturday, June 23, 4-8 p.m., and promises everything you need for a fantastic street party—yummy food from retromodern food carts, live music performances, street performers and refreshing hosted cocktails—all benefiting the Center's youth mentoring program, LifeWorks. Bully director Lee Hirsch and LifeWorks member Justin Gonzalez will also be present at the event to receive the Courage Award.
Tickets start at $100 and can be purchased here.
Lifeworks is a youth development and mentoring program, offering one-on-one mentoring, as well as a wide array of services to help LGBT youth.
