The now out singer-songwriter Frank Ocean appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night to perform "Bad Religion"—marking his first appearance performing on television. Ocean uses the pronoun "him" in the song to tell the story of a man who broke his heart—a large step forward for any mainstream recording artist, especially in hip-hop. Hopefully this is just the beginning.

Ocean has written music for other artists, including Justin Bieber and Beyoncé. His much-anticipated album, Channel Orange, was released a week early and is now available on iTunes.
