The upcoming holiday season and end of the year is the perfect excuse to dig through your wardrobe for unwanted, unworn or gently used clothing. Take part in the season of giving and donate these items at the Young Professional Council's sixth annual Threads of Change event this Sunday, Dec. 9. Donations will go to fill the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center's clothing closet for homeless LGBT youth.

Bring your items to Eleven Nightclub between noon and 4 p.m. on Sunday and you'll receive a compliementary mimosa. Bloomingdale's will be there to offer a pampering station with exclusive LAB Series treatments and 15 percent off coupons good at any store. It's the season to give and receive!

If you're not able to make it out to the Threads of Change event this Sunday, donations are accepted all year round at the Center's Highland Annex, 1220 N. Highland Ave., every day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, visit Facebook or laglc.org.
