Coming to Theatres: Hugh Jackman in 'Peter Pan' Revisiting, Naomi Watts Joins 'Divergent' Sequel

Hugh Jackman reunites with his Les Miserables costar Amanda Seyfried in Pan, the latest screen look at the boy who never grew up. The X-Men star recently posted a selfie of him with goatee and shaved head which is for his role as Blackbeard the pirate. Tron: Legacy’Garrett Hedlund will play Peter Pan’s swashbuckling nemesis, with newcomer Levi Miller as the title character. Appearing with them will be model Cara Delevingne and Prometheus alum Rooney Mara as Tiger Lily. Aiming for a 2015 release, the project will be directed Joe Wright who previously helmed another youth-focused film, Hanna.

King Kong’s Naomi Watts has been added to the cast of the Divergent sequel, Insurgent. She’ll be playing Evelyn, leader of the factionless, a role that will continue into Allegiant, the final film in the series. Insurgent is being directed by Robert Schwentke, who previously oversaw Bruce Willis and Helen Mirren in their film Red. Returning for the second chapter are Shailene WoodleyTheo JamesJai CourtneyMekhi Phifer and Kate Winslet.

2012’Roland Emmerich is stepping away from global disaster themes to make a historical drama for the LGBT community. Set in the civil rights-impacted era of 1969, the film is called Stonewall and shoots this summer.

ABC Family reunites former Beverly Hills 90210 stars Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling in the new series Mystery Girls. The duo play two former stars of a hit TV detective series who reunite to solve a real-life mystery. The comedy series is executive-produced by Spelling and Garth and costars Shameless vet Danika Yarosh.

Tonight on TV: More Sexy Wolves Join the 'Teen Wolf' Pack

MTV’s Teen Wolf begins its 4th season offering more bare-chested hunkiness. The whole cast of regulars is back with the exception of a notable quartet. Crystal Reed’s role was killed off last season, Daniel Sharman left to take a role in The Originals plus Max and Charlie Carver moved on to upcoming HBO series The Leftovers. Reed’s departure provides expanded exposure for Shelley Hennig’s Malia and Arden Cho’s Kira characters. The two will form a strong bond with Holland Roden’s Lydia and become a powerful trio this season.

Tonight on TV: 'True Blood' Goes Out with a Bang, 'The Musketeers' Premieres

True Blood kicks off its seventh and final season and is going out with a bang. Stephen Moyer takes his character through the most physically and demanding scenes he’s performed to date. Among new story elements are an army of zombie-like vampires, decimated by the Hep-V virus, marching on Bon Temps. Expect the most intense and bloodiest slaughter scene to date. The most exciting news is a fantasy come true for many—a very erotic scene between Alexander Skarsgaard and Ryan Kwanten. Sorry to those rooting for a Kwanten and Joe Manganiello hookup.

Coming to Theatres: 'Guardians of the Galaxy' Villain Cast, Katey Segal Joins 'Pitch Perfect 2'

With only a few months left before its release, Marvel has announced that Josh Brolin has been cast to play the villain Thanos in Guardians of the Galaxy. The character, who appeared in the post-credits Easter Egg for The Avengers will be CGI but voiced by Brolin. The actor is also producing and starring in Quasimodo, another remake of The Hunchback of Notre Dame

Coming to Theatres: 'Resident Evil' Gets a Final Chapter, Last 'Hunger Games' Film Has Cast Confirmed

The next entry in the Resident Evil films, titled Resident Evil: Final Chapter, has people buzzing about it being bad news and good news. Prior stories had the project being called Resident Evil: Rising, yet Director Paul W.S. Anderson has confirmed that "Final Chapter" is what it reads on the working scripts. Returning in the latest edition is Anderson’s wife and lead of all prior Resident Evil movies, Milla Jovovich. She’ll be joined by series alumni Wentworth MillerSienna GuilloryJohann Urb and Bingbing Li.
